The Fallow Leaping Dawn has left the collection in the Workshop Wales Gallery and been delivered to it’s new home. I was so pleased to see it in such a beautiful location, surrounded by magnificent views.

For part of my childhood I lived by the river. I often looked for the kingfisher, hoping to catch a glimpse, but it always eluded me. Since living in Wales I have frequently seen kingfishers on days out with my family, it’s an experience that always has a hint of magic.
When I have returned to the stretch of river of my childhood, though the kingfisher there still eludes me, it continues to play a good part in the visit.
