When capturing the movement and life of an animal, part of an artistic approach that I keep returning to is choosing to leave parts of the sculpture open. In this sculpture much of the form is suggested by using simple flowing curved lines to capture the essence of a Fallow deer in full dynamic motion.

This life size sculpture has to be the crowning piece to join my collection this year at the Workshop Wales Gallery.
