My latest sculpture Motion has the largest scale horse head I have made to date.

I first took on the subject of horses ten years ago when I was commissioned to make Spirits of the Race for the Ffos Las racecourse, and have returned to this rich subject many times since.

Refining the equine aspects of a sculpture on this scale pushed my knowledge and ability.  Continuing to work with Lucy at Forest Stables however, helped me to succeed and further develop in this area and my thanks go out to her.

It was also great to have been able to use some of the gems that my good friend Mike has brought me in the past.  Gears and teeth from his digger can be found amongst the many other objects that fuse together to create the form.

The sculpture has been put on show at the workshop Wales gallery.
